Hannah

Having taught as an English teacher in secondary schools for over ten years, I have secured excellent results both for high performing students and for students with lower starting points at GCSE for both literature and language and at Key Stage 3. I also have experience tutoring for year 6 SATs. My current role in schools is leading Teaching and Learning across the whole school as an Assistant Headteacher training others in great teaching. My lessons will be filled with knowledge, recall, success through mastery and achievement and will be tailored to the prior knowledge and targets of the student.

I have been teaching secondary English for over ten years to a range of student abilities and have fantastic results both of supporting students on the borderline to pass their GCSEs and in securing top grades. I have a wealth of experience as a qualified English teacher for the past ten years.

Tutoring Approach

My approach uses my experience and expertise to teach explicitly students the knowledge and skill that they need to be successful. I meet students at their starting point and tailor the education to meet their need and secure them the grades that they need. I expect students to work hard during the tutoring and in their own time.
