An enthusiastic and committed Primary School Teacher, eager to help students learn and develop in all educational, social, and emotional areas. A caring and upbeat personality allows me to create a fun yet safe learning space for every child, whilst my high professional standards ensure that all teaching requirements are met during every lesson. My strong communication skills allow me to create positive relationships with both the children I teach and with their parents/guardians. I have a strong passion for teaching and believe there is no greater feeling than watching a child succeed and build their confidence in their learning.

Tutoring Experience

Currently working as a Year 6 teacher, I have excellent experience in teaching subjects across the KS2 curriculum. My teaching is regularly observed by my colleagues to which I receive high praise, and I am able to identify areas that I wish to improve and do so instantly. I have excellent behaviour management and am able to interact with my students in a friendly yet professional manner, creating a positive learning environment for all.

Tutoring Approach

I have a calm and valued approach to teaching. The children I teach are able to recognise and understand that my high standards are in place to ensure their success, and building relationships based on mutual respect and appreciation for learning enables a comfortable yet determined setting for children to grow and progress academically. I feel it is important to inform children why they are learning a particular topic, why this session will be beneficial to them and how we can work together as a team to ensure they can achieve the best of their abilities. The needs of the child always come first in my teaching, and I strive to ensure every child feels motivated and confident to reach their goals
