I live with my husband and two energetic boys. In my spare time I like to go to the gym and spend time with my family and friends. I also like travelling and exploring new places.
I have been working in an educational setting since 2005 and teaching since 2008. I have a range of experience, from teaching adults History and Sociology in a Further Education College, to teaching History, Sociology and Psychology at KS3, 4 and 5 in a secondary school. My particular expertise is in teaching A Level Psychology and A Level Sociology. I have experience of working with a number of different exam boards, including AQA and OCR.
I am passionate about the subjects that I teach and enjoy instilling that enthusiasm in my students. I think it is important to go back to the basics with students rather than throwing them in at the deep end. I believe that teaching should be student focused, rather than led solely by the teacher. I will be very much guided by what the student needs in order to achieve their potential.
