As an experienced physics teacher, my tutoring style is a mix of my pedagogical knowledge and genuine passion for science and maths. I believe that science and maths are open to everyone, so I work hard to engage all students using their own interests and a number of inquiry-based learning techniques. Retrieval practice is also a cornerstone of my tutoring approach, as I understand that regular review and self-assessment are keys to long-term retention.
I am also well versed in preparing students to sit examinations and use regular practice exam questions and past paper analysis to ensure that students become familiar with the format and types of questions they will encounter.
