Harry

I am a passionate young Business Teacher, who has worked around kids in either teaching or extra-curricular activities for almost 10 years. I love the relevant and changing environment within Business, and sharing this with students to provide them with the knowledge and skills to fulfil their potential in their future life. As Deputy Head of KS4, I also value basic skills such as respect, manners and kindness, which are just as valuable in Business as education. I love sports and socialising outside of the day job!

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 4 years now at a school in West London, and have been qualified for 2 years now. I primarily teach BTEC Level 2 and 3, and A-Level Business. Due to lockdown restrictions, I have also developed the ability to teach online, and ensure these classes are engaging and interactive if this is your preferred approach.

Tutoring Approach

I aim to combine 3 key areas of Business - content knowledge, application of knowledge to different businesses, and an understanding of exam/writing structures. I want this to be as engaging as possible, with lesson time used for discussions and questions, with independent work something students should take personal responsibility for in the lead up to exams. I am here to facilitate and guide learning, whilst students lead themselves. This develops what I view as a key skill in the future of independence, allowing students to tackle tasks and work with confidence in their own ability.
