Tutoring Approach
My experience as an effective classroom teacher, exam marker and tutor equips my students with outstanding reading and writing skills for their GCSE English Exams. More than 80% of my GCSE students achieve grade 8-9 in English every year. In 2023 and 2024GCSE exams, 86% students achieved grades 8 or 9 in English.
After developing their key skills, students are given rigorous practice in attempting past and practice papers to ensure fast-paced progress. Their work is diligently marked and detailed feedback is provided about gaps in their learning, areas of focus and the strategies to achieve the targets.
I have written model answers and step by step guides for exam papers of all the examining boards. Students richly benefit from the model answers when they carry out the gap analysis between their responses and the model answers.
Parents are regularly informed about the progress of their children through review meetings. All the marked work is emailed to the parents every week.
All these best practices energise the students to achieve the best result in English Language and Literature.
Progress starts from the first lesson as the learning objectives and learning outcomes are determined in every lesson.

My weekly group lessons are 2 hours long and cost £30 altogether.
