Hi I'm Harry, I'm 24 years old and I'm offering maths tutoring to young people in and around Sussex. Outside of tutoring, I'm trying to become a finance professional.

Tutoring Experience

I have successfully tutored in the past, helping one young person go from a 4 to a 6 on her Maths GCSE. Since then, I've been working on my own maths teaching skills and I feel confident in tutoring for both the Lower and Higher Maths GCSE papers. I can also provide tutoring for primary and secondary school age children.

Tutoring Approach

I think the main difference between myself and other maths tutors is that I emphasise the understanding of maths rather than just pure memorisation. My teaching goes over topics in depth, showing the logic behind problems and helping my students to know how to approach problems using this logic. By doing so, I believe that I can help students to get excited about maths and the associated skills that will help them no matter where they choose to take their studies.
