Hi, I am a 3rd year Mechanical Engineering Student at the University of Sheffield. I am specialising in computational maths and CAD work. In my spare time I am a rugby referee and I also volunteer at several heritage steam railways.
Tutoring Experience
I have tutored my younger sisters friends in GCSE and A-level maths. After tutoring them, all their grades improved by at least 1 grade.
I have also had experience teaching through the RAF cadets, where I created the teaching structure, organised lessons and taught younger cadets the required content.
Tutoring Approach
I like to get to know the student and found out what they enjoy doing and try to relate the content I am teaching to them, back to what they enjoy.
I have also found that tutoring is most effective when the student is willing to try and make mistakes.
