I believe in education for all, anyone can do Maths! In my spare time I am a keen baker and have moved to online teaching so I can pursue travel.

Tutoring Experience

An established teacher who has worked in an independent school in Reading and completed my teacher training in a grammar school. I am passionate and approachable and get results. My degree and PGCE are both specialised in Mathematics and I also studied for a Statistics GCSE. I know my subject inside out and also have the benefit of teaching experience.

Tutoring Approach

1. I have a wealth of resources which I have developed over time.
2. I am able to use technology efficiently and I give students access to their own online drive. This enables my students to stay organised and consolidate work from any session.
3. I differentiate my resources to suit my students' individual needs.
4. A big focus on exam questions and exam technique.
5. Knowledge of the specifications for the various examination boards.
6. An emphasis on how to use the GDC (calculator) for A Level papers so that students are able to use their exam time efficiently.
