I am a qualified and experienced French Teacher. Teaching French from Secondary; GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A level, including SEN experience. Offers preparation for British Curriculum Exams and Scholarship Exam11+, 13+ and School Entrance Examinations.
I am a French native, I was born and raised in France and then lived 14 years in England. I am an UK qualified Modern Foreign Language Teacher with French. I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Portsmouth England. I am currently working as a French teacher KS3, KS4 to A-level.

Tutoring Experience

More than 6 years experience in teaching MFL French (Cambridge Curriculum, Pearson, AQA, Educas and IB) from KS3 to KS5, Sixth Form AS & A-Level/Literature.

Tutoring Approach

In my teaching, lessons encompass a range of skill building activities to ensure engaging lessons. I believe it is important to use a variety of stimuli. Also I have first-hand experience of integrating a cross curricular element into language lessons, with the aim of engaging pupils whose strengths lie in other curriculum areas.

Moreover, my lessons include cultural aspects in relation to the language and plan suitable differentiation activities which appeal to a variety of learning styles, abilities and backgrounds. My priorities are making my lessons inspiring, engaging and accessible to all.

As well as planning for progression, encouraging and supporting every student, I focus on academic progress and achievement. I have a high expectation of my students and I consistently challenge them in lessons and encourage them to do their best. My philosophy is based on increasing student's well-being and confidence.
