I graduated from The University of Reading with a mathematics degree in 2015. I have a passion for helping all student develop and gain an understanding in all subjects and become subject specialists. I enjoy working with students of all ages and hope to help inspire the future leaders.
I have been working as a full time tutor since 2016. I have tutored hundreds of students since 2016. I tutor all ages from primary to GCSE & A-Level students but must recently I have started ‘Home Education’ tuition. I have been able to not only improve their grades but also help them with their confidence across the curriculum.
I like to have an informal approach to teaching and try to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
My aim is to make each lesson as fun and enjoyable as possible. Each tutoring experience will be different and tailored to the needs of the student.
I believe that planning an initial meeting (which is free of charge) prior to our first lesson with the student and parent is beneficial to deciding what areas to concentrate on, which will maximise learning time and ensures the student and myself are comfortable and happy to start lessons.
During this initial meeting I will ask what areas the student feels they need to most with in order to help me establish what areas we need to focus on and I can then tailor the lessons to the student.
