Hello, I am a tutor offering Creative Writing, English Language and Literature. I am also a writer and examiner have been tutoring since 2015. I have a PhD in Literature. I am DBS Enhanced and a member of the DBS Update Service. I am also a member of The Tutor's Association.
I am experienced in tutoring mainstream school, college and home educated students at all key stages. I home educated my son from the age of 4-16. I also have experience with SEN students. I am an examiner of A Level / I A Level and GCSE/ IGCSE Language and Literature and teach all of the main exam board syllabi.
I am the author of GCSE study guides and course materials and write poetry and enjoy music in my free time.
I take a friendly, creative and enthusiastic approach to tutoring. I provide individually planned lessons for each student and draw on every student's strengths to enable them to tackle areas of study they find challenging with confidence. I enjoy tutoring immensely and find it very rewarding to enable students to reach their full potential and progress with their studies and longer term ambitions.
