Having seen my own children through their GCSE and A-level exams, I have personal experience of the anxieties these difficult years can cause both students and their parents. I am patient and motivated to see students achieve success as a result of hard work. I am happy to travel to students in radius of approximately 10 miles,to welcome students to my home or alternatively teaching on-line. In the 23-24 academic year all of my GCSE students achieved their predicted grades of 7 and 6. In the 22-23 academic year all of my GCSE students achieved their predictioned grades of 4 or 5 at Foundation Tier. In the 21-22 academic year my GCSE students achieved a grade 7, grade 6 and grade 5 respectively. In the 20-21 academic year my GCSE students achieved a grade 5 and grade 7 respectively, and in 19-20 my GSCE students achieved a grade 5, grade 6 and grade 8 respectively.
I am a qualified teacher with 28 years' experience of teaching Maths, tutoring primary and secondary school aged children and students taking GCSE exams. I currently teach at a local Further Education College.
It is essential to establish an excellent understanding of the basics from which one can build on specific areas which require improvement. I am lead by the student and work with them to build their confidence and skills.
