My name is Helen and I am currently teaching in a main stream school. Being dyslexic growing up meant that I had to be creative in the way I learnt, this is reflected in the way I teach. My students find my teaching creative, useful and most importantly fun.
I have been teaching Geography for 12 years, and currently have a very successful pass rate at both GCSE and A Level. I am currently Head of Department at my school and am striving towards making learning fun and ensuring my students are successful.
My main aim is to understand the need of the student. Every student is different and learns in different ways. It is about ensuring that these needs are met and I strive to ensure this.
