I am a hard-working, committed and organised final year medical student at Imperial College School of Medicine. As a student myself, I know what it feels like to be under exam pressure and over the years have honed many exam skills and techniques that I can't wait to share.
Since starting university I have been tutoring students aged 8-18years weekly in both individual and group settings.
I started tutoring during my time at North London Collegiate School (NLCS) and fell in love with teaching. In addition to my one-to-one lessons, I ran a Science tutoring scheme tailed towards my younger peers with their GCSEs.
A volunteering placement as a teaching assistant in a primary school in Sri Lanka called for creative and innovative ways of teaching, particularly for the younger students.
I create PowerPoints, work sheets and activities to engage my students whilst systematically covering the syllabus points to meet the exceptionally high standards required by the students and parents I work with.
Above all, it is important to me that my students see me as not only their tutor but as someone who genuinely cares for them.
For me, each student presents a unique opportunity to ignite in them the same passion I have for the subject i teach and I look forward to creating the perfect environment for them to learn with me and achieve their goals
