Hi, Henry here! I am 24 years old and have recently graduated from The University of Warwick with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. I now work full time as a private tutor and absolutely love my job! My core attribute as a tutor is being able to relate to the teenage student experience, having only recently gone through that myself. People would hopefully describe me as a cheerful, friendly person, who possesses excellent communication skills that allow me to interact with all types of personalities.
I started tutoring at 18 and I instantly found it an enjoyable and gratifying experience. Furthermore, having achieved 10 A*'s at GCSE and 4 A's at A-Level (Maths, Further Maths, Economics and History), I have successfully navigated the exams and possess an intimate knowledge on how to do well in them. I passed the 11+ exams which allowed me to attend Haberdashers' Boys' School, so I can also help with this if you wish.
My lessons typically last 1hr and tend to have a general structure, but I am flexible based on the needs of the student. I am a very patient tutor, and I have taught students from all backgrounds, as well as those with learning difficulties. As someone with ADD, I understand how to keep the attention of the student and maximise the session so that you get your money's worth.
