A qualified Psychology teacher with the ambition to support GCSE, A-Level & BTEC students in preparation for their exams.

The belief that all students have different learning styles and distinct personalities makes one-to-one tuition more effective in that it allows me to adapt the lessons carefully to meet each student's particular needs. Additionally to this, I always focus on creating a positive atmosphere for the students, to make learning a more enjoyable experience for them. For me, seeing the joy in my students’ eyes when they finally grasp a concept, or do really well in their exams is the ultimate reward that has brought me to teaching in the first place.

I am an experienced and passionate tutor with more than 9 years background in teaching A-Level and BTEC Psychology, as well as having experience tutoring English at all levels.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style is centered on building exam skills, understanding mark schemes, and mastering techniques to gain marks, rather than just focusing on content. I believe that success in exams comes from knowing how to approach questions, structure answers effectively, and meet the specific criteria set by examiners. I also provide practical tips on effective revision strategies, helping students retain information and manage their study time efficiently. My goal is to make students not only knowledgeable but also exam-ready.
