I have been teaching for 12 years and before that worked in the food industry. I have also worked in administration. I have travelled and lived abroad so am comfortable with all ages, cultures and beliefs.
I have been teaching since 2008 and have experience mainly with adults in the following areas; ESOL, Academic English, Functional English and could help primary school children with their English, as well. I have also taught subjects such as Employability so can tailor learning to the students requirements. I have also been an IELTS examiner so am hope to coach students for the IELTS exam and currently help with the speaking part of the Cambridge OET exam for health professionals.
Positive praise is the best approach and patience. It takes some students longer than others to understand a concept and progress as everyone is an individual. Students who are prepared to put in a little bit of extra home study will progress quicker.
