I am a calm and approachable teacher with a desire for developing students academically, socially and emotionally. Outside of that, I have a passion for sports and travel.
I am a qualified teacher who has taught both in the UK and abroad, at British International schools. Therefore, I have a sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and a vast experience working with students of different needs and learning styles. Additionally, I have a lot of experience teaching children with English as an additional language, as well as those who require greater depth learning. In the UK, I taught Year 5 and 6 so I also have experience in developing the confidence and skills required to prepare children for examinations.
My holistic approach to teaching is one that helps children identify connections, purpose and reasoning for study. It is extremely important that your child develops a passion for learning through identifying these connections whilst progressing in all developmental areas. Once this passion for learning is achieved, through enjoyable and relatable activities, it is important that children understand their learning style and acquire the skills and independence to progress their own learning therefore, no longer require a private tutor.
