Tutoring Experience
I have been a Further Education Lecturer for 22 years and I have worked specifically in Additional Learning Support since July, 2006. I assess for examination support and also teach small groups ranging from 1:1 to 1:3. I have taken courses to gain accreditated teacher status for those with Dyslexia and have substantial experience of providing tutoring and support in this area.
Tutoring Approach
I strongly believe that the learner's experience of tutoring should be an enjoyable, engaging and productive. I look to engage learners by using their personal experiences and interests to make bespoke, individually planned lessons.
