As a PhD-qualified senior lecturer with extensive academic knowledge and experience in both Computer Science and Mathematics, I am well-equipped to provide high-quality education to my students. I earned my first-class Honors degree, Masters, and PhD in computer science from Russell Group universities, namely the Universities of Warwick and Nottingham. My strong academic background has given me a thorough understanding of the latest curricula for KS2/3, GCSE, and A-level Maths, which I closely align my teaching with.
I am fully committed to meeting the unique learning needs of my students and always provide tailored tutoring sessions to ensure their success. I take a patient approach when explaining challenging concepts, and my students find me engaging and motivating.
The GCSE and A-level exams are becoming increasingly challenging, and it is more important than ever for students to have the support of a knowledgeable tutor who understands the various exam boards and techniques. I am dedicated to working closely with my students to help them achieve a grade higher than their target grade.
Over the years, I have helped many students improve their grades significantly. Almost all of my students have increased two or more grades after some time with me, and I regularly receive positive feedback from both parents and students. In addition to one-to-one tuition, I also offer discounted rate on group bookings, making it an excellent option for small study groups or friends who want to learn together.
As a capable and reliable tutor, I always strive to give my students a positive tuition experience. Witnessing their academic improvement always gives me a sense of satisfaction.

I have more than 10 years of tutoring experience in Computing & Maths at different levels (KS2/3, GCSE, A level and university) and nearly 8 years of industrial experience.
As an experienced tutor, I understand that each learner has unique learning needs, and I strive to deliver tailored tutoring sessions that are customised to meet those needs. At the start of each session, I take the time to assess the strengths and weaknesses of my students to better understand where they need additional support. I also incorporate regular ongoing assessments to track their progress and make any necessary adjustments to my teaching approach.
In my experience, achieving excellent exam grades is a result of having a deep understanding of the topics, the ability to apply concepts, and plenty of practice. To facilitate this, I use real-world examples to explain complex Math concepts and offer multiple solutions to the same questions to help students grasp the core of the problem. With access to my extensive question bank, which includes past exam papers and my own custom-designed questions, students have the opportunity to try different types of questions and bridge any gaps between understanding the topic and applying it in exam questions.
As an engaging and motivating tutor, I take pride in being patient when explaining difficult topics. I treat my tutees as friends and prioritise building trust between us. By doing so, I create an environment that is conducive to learning, where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their thoughts without fear of judgment.
I also provide my students with study skills and exam techniques that enhance their productivity and academic performance.
