Jamie

I am a Wirral based guitarist who can teach beginner and some intermediate guitarists. I have been playing for nearly twenty years and took six years of lessons with the Wirral School of Music. I also teach Maths, English, Sociology, 11+ and History.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience tutoring in maths and English at both primary and secondary level. I have also taught sociology up to A-level and have provided sessions for essay writing for degrees.

I also tutor in the 11+. I have a 100% pass rate thus far and the pupils I have tutored have done very well in their exams. I took the exam myself so I have experience of what it is like to do the exam. I also have experience tutoring for the Musical Aptitude Test and SATs.

I have four years of tutoring experience and am looking to expand on that. I have also completed a PGCE and worked in primary schools for two years.

Tutoring Approach

I take the needs of the pupil into account and have a lot of experience working with SEND students.
