I am currently a chemistry teacher in an independent school, in which a majority of pupils attain the highest grades at GCSE and A-level. I was educated in a state school and went on to complete an integrated masters degree in Chemical Physics, before pursuing a PhD in Nanotechnology.
I gained 4 years experience working in independent education centres and 3 years tutoring experience during my own schooling. I also have 3 years experience as a teacher of chemistry in an independent school.
I always aim to ensure that my pupils understand the basics before moving forward, and I encourage pupils to ask questions. No question is too basic! I have high expectations of my pupils and try to create an environment in which pupils are not afraid to make mistakes. I believe in celebrating every success.
