I am a South African student at Nottingham Trent University and i am currently doing my Masters Degree in International Real Estate Investment and Finance. I have always been exceptionally good at maths throughout school. I continued with maths at university and truly believe math is the reason i have been able to continue to do well through all my educational pursuits. I am 23 years old and enjoy trying to help other students to excel at math.

Tutoring Experience

When studying my undergraduate degree in South Africa i was a mathematics tutor during my final year of study to a grade 8 student. He was struggling with the jump from junior school to high school maths and we managed to improve his grades significantly during the year.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that having a incredibly solid understanding of the basics in maths is crucial and i like to ensure that this is something the student has. if this is not the case i will first ensure the basics are solidified. when approaching any new section i try to expose students to more than one single way of approaching a problem and then build on the method that they find easiest to understand.
