I am a teacher currently working in a SEN school for children with all needs- ranging from physical disabilities, to behavioural needs or simply learning difficulties. I have mainstream experience too, and work with the English National Curriculum. I have a BA Degree in Philosophy with English and a PGCE with SEN!
I have currently been a qualified teacher for 2 years, with a total of 10 years experience in the teaching industry. I have worked in both SEN schools and mainstream schools with ages from 2 (Early Years) up to the age of 11 (Year 6).
My approach to tutoring is working one-to-one working with the needs of the pupils- the areas which they desire to be targeted or improved on. I firstly consult with the parents/carers and see which direction they would like to go in, and I then will set targets for the pupil and i to address and work towards achieving.
