I am a Biomedical Engineering student at Imperial College and have grown up in South West London. I have always had a particular interest in maths and teach it exclusively. I received straight A*/A across both GCSE and A-Level including Further Maths, however, it is my communication skills with pupils of different ages and abilities that makes me stand out as a tutor.
I enjoy teaching and love watching the progression of my pupils in both their academic ability and their love for the subject. I have had lots of teaching experience having taught maths at GCSE/A-Level as an independent tutor for 5+ years and have found my pupils by recommendation through word of mouth. I have helped many pupils receive A*'s in both GSCE's and A levels. I have also helped students get into their first choice university including medical school.
My main ambition is to maximize each pupil's potential in the most efficient way. Every student is different and finding the best approach is essential to boost progress. Through thorough preparation and clear communication with pupils and parents, I can deliver lessons at different paces that suit different learning types. Consolidating fundamentals in mathematics can help build confidence in pupils in order to inspire them in the subject. Additionally, lesson reviews can help pupils to know what to work on in order to improve. Watching the quick progression of pupils really inspires me to give the best learning experience!
