Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced primary school teacher - having taught in both Key stage 1 and 2. I have also worked in a school for children with learning differences including dyslexia and dyspraxia. Alongside this, I have tutored children in all sorts of topics. For example, I have tutored a teenager with SEN who was studying for his level 1 cert. I have tutored children for their Lamda Speech and Language exams and also support children for their Year 6 entry exams.

Tutoring Approach

I will adjust my teaching style to your child’s needs. I aim to support their learning in a safe and comfortable environment, understand how they can learn most effectively and will adapt my teaching accordingly. My sessions will be varied and will cement their learning through use of hands on resources, repetition and finally - will make it as fun as possible!
