Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 30 years with the last 23 years in EYFS and KS1 recently leaving main stream education as an Asst Head. I have great expertise in phonics and early maths and am therefore able to go backwards to fill in gaps children may have in their learning.

Tutoring Approach

Due to the age of the children I tutor I offer short sessions from 20 mins upwards in their own home. I am a gentle, nurturing person who children respond to well. My activities are all playbased and fun and I use games and puppets to enhance the children's learning and confidence. I can work with children from 3 and up to 11.
