Taught GCSE History to my son. Genuinely wanted to connect to him and get to know him. Very thorogh teachrr plus gave extra background information for context and for interest. Would definitely recommend.

I'm happy to share that my son has completed his 2024 IGCSE exams and scored an 8 (91/120 points) in his Edexcel History paper. We're grateful for the excellent support and guidance from his tutor, Jenna.

Jenna has tailored her approach to really help develop my daughter's knowledge of history and approach to the subject. She has been patient to identify the areas where my daughter needs to strengthen her knowledge whilst also focusing on the structure of her answers to the questions that she'll face in her exams. Additionally she's flexible in offering in person as well as online tuition. As a person she is kind and attentive and is an complete disciple of her subject. I recommend her highly.

Having worked with Jenna on my A Level History course, I can highly recommend her to anyone looking for an engaging and highly informed teacher with a genuine passion for the subjects that she teaches.

I benefitted from the great thought and time which Jenna puts to her lesson plans, especially as she is able to adapt her teaching approach according to individual learning styles and course focus areas. Her extensive knowledge of the subjects that she specialises in adds greatly to the quality of discussion and subsequent understanding that you gain as a student. Jenna genuinely cares about the success of her students and will go the extra mile to ensure that her you feel comfortable in your understanding of important concepts and events and feel confident to write an effectively conveyed argument in an exam. I enjoyed my time as a student with Jenna immensely and despite the impact of Covid-19 on 2020's exams, Jenna did all that she could to reassure me and promptly provided the necessary evidence to be sent off - I was very pleased to be awarded an A grade in August.

I believe that all students can enhance their learning and love of their subject with Jenna whether with her in person or online, having worked with her in both capacities.

I cannot overstate how amazing Jenna is! My son got a disappointing D at AS level and Jenna started tutoring him for just an hour a week from the following autumn - he got an A in his A level just a year later and as a result secured a place on his first choice uni course. I sat in on two of their sessions and Jenna’s drive, energy, enthusiasm and knowledge of her subject were quite simply inspiring. She was brilliant at identifying my sons areas of weakness (particularly in essay writing) and helping him to improve and her no-nonsense, positive attitude were perfect for him. Quite simply I don’t believe for a second that there would have been so many happy tears in our house on results day if we hadn’t been lucky enough to find Jenna and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
