Hi, I'm Jenny! I’m hugely passionate about sharing my enthusiasm for Science and Maths. I hold a Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, which has provided me with a strong foundation in both scientific theory and practical applications. I have 4 years professional teaching experience in a variety of settings, including at a leading school in central London. This experience has allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of diverse learning needs and the ability to adapt my teaching style to suit students of all abilities.

I am committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to engage deeply with the material. I prioritize understanding the individual needs of each student to help them build confidence and develop a genuine passion for the subject. Tutoring Experience

Alongside teaching at schools, I have been tutoring privately for several years, which has given me invaluable experience working closely with students on a one-to-one basis. I truly enjoy building professional, trusting relationships with my students, which allows me to tailor my approach to their specific needs. I believe that this connection makes a huge difference in a student's academic progress and motivation.

I have successfully supported numerous pupils through their key GCSE years with many students achieving top grades and surpassing their targets. This success comes from my focus on building strong foundations in the subject content, reinforcing their understanding, and working on exam strategies that help them approach exams with confidence.

In addition to subject content, I place a key emphasis on developing effective exam techniques, such as time management, question analysis, and approaches to different question types. Ultimately, my goal is to make learning a fulfilling experience that empowers students and helps them feel equipped to take on academic challenges with confidence.
