I am a primary school teacher who enjoys singing in a choir, playing competitive volleyball in a women's team, spending time with my husband and entertaining our friends with dinner parties.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a key stage 2 classroom teacher for 5 years in both year 5 and year 3, alongside my teacher training experience I worked with year 2 and year 4 classes. Prior to becoming a qualified teacher, I spent three years working as a teaching assistant supporting year 1, year 6 and children with special educational needs.

Tutoring Approach

I strive to make all subjects as fun and captivating as possible to generate high levels of engagement and good, quality work. I ensure all lessons and activities are accessible to each child and can provide additional support in order to close gaps or provide extra challenges to allow children to meet the greater than expected standard. Although I am a kind teacher who displays a good sense of humour, I also have a high expectation of children's behaviour and will ensure there is a calm and safe working environment.
