Hello!
I am originally from Wales but I have spent the last 4 years teaching in London and then Dubai. I enjoy travelling and have visited 8 countries so far this year!

Tutoring Experience

I worked as a reception class teacher for two years in an inner city primary school in North London. I worked with a number of children with severe special needs within the classroom. Whilst in London I completed private tutoring with pupils in year 1 and year 6.
For the past two years I have taught as the head of the foundation stage in a school in Dubai. Whilst completing this role I also tutored a reception aged child who had severe autism and three brothers in year 1, year 3 and year 6.

Tutoring Approach

I am flexible in my approach to tutoring and aim to adapt my tutoring style to the specific needs of the learner. I have completed focused phonics training for pupils who speak English as a second language, helped to complete long term projects with older pupils and completed enhanced curriculum focused activities with other pupils
