I am an experienced teacher / tutor with over 28 years' experience. I can help you if you are looking for a supportive and caring tutor who will always go the extra mile to make sure you achieve your goals and targets. I can help in all primary subjects, SATs preparation, 11+ exam preparation, CE or scholarship exam preparation, up to grade 9 GCSE in Maths, Further Maths, Statistics & Sciences, psychometric testing, UKCAT preparation and ESOL. Tutoring Experience

I have over 28 years' experience as a teacher/tutor; teaching in the primary sector initially, before specialising in maths and science at Year 7, then teaching maths up to GCSE. Since becoming a private tutor in 2015, I have worked mainly on a 1-to-1 basis with an extremely wide range of students. I have worked with students as young as 6 years, up to and including adult learners. The subjects I have experience of tutoring are Maths, Sciences and Geography up to GCSE, all primary subjects, 11+/grammar/CE & 13+ scholarship exam preparation, psychometric test & UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) preparation and ESOL tuition. I have experience of both face-to-face & online tuition using Skype, Zoom & Teams.

I am passionate about helping students in aspects of their study that they find challenging. I am supportive and caring, believing that strong foundations and confidence in the subject being studied are paramount to making progress. I will devise a bespoke, personalised learning programme that will allow you to meet your learning goals and individual learning styles. I offer face-to-face or online lessons using Skype, Zoom, Teams or First Tutors' online platform.
