My son has had two lessons so far with Jess, helping him with his GCSE English. She seems to be an excellent tutor.

We had a small booster course with Jessica to brush-up on comprehension for 11plus. My son found lessons very helpful and learnt the technique on how to approach questions.
My son will continue his lessons and will also sign up for mentoring sessions with Jessica in the near future. I think, Jessica has a very unique academic journey and can offer a wealth of experience on how to navigate the system, both in the UK and US. I am also very keen for my son to take some lessons in preparation for the LAMDA exams. The versatility is endless. I would definitely recommend Jessica to my friends.

I had been trying super hard to find a tutor who was willing to take on my requirement to make my girl’s Literature grade a more secure A*. None was daring enough except for Jessica. She has been a super hard working tutor who gives much extra and useful work to my daughter to both boost her confidence and to prompt a stronger interest on the subject. My girl always looks forward to her lessons and she learns a lot of intelligent exam techniques after each lesson. I have no hesitation to recommend Jessica to anyone who needs help at any level.

Throughout our tutorials Jess has been fantastic, helping me create a much more thorough structure to my dissertation whilst explaining in detail how I may be able to improve areas and expand on certain topics. Jessica is an excellent tutor. She is very organized, well prepared for each lesson and in a way which suits my daughter’s understanding . My daughter really enjoyed having her lessons.

Jess has been a great tutor for my 6 year old son. His reading and creative writing skills were a little behind as a result of various lockdowns and Jess has helped to boost his confidence and hone his skills in some key areas. I’ve been really impressed with how structured and organised his zoom lessons with her have been. She also sets him weekly homework exercises if he has any spare time in the week. Jess treats Ben like a grown up and she isn’t afraid to push him slightly out of his comfort zone at times. As a result he has progressed in leaps and bounds (I’ve been astonished to see the advanced texts he’s now able to read with ease). Reading comprehension and creative writing are already becoming second nature to him and before he really struggled.

Jessica is kind and extremely patient with my son and takes the time to explain things thoroughly to ensure he truly understands. She is flexible, adaptable and is happy to move schedules when timings clash.

Jessica makes learning fun, exciting and intriguing. She is able to engage and draw my son into learning and I am tremendously grateful to have found Jessica, who I would highly recommend.

I look forward to seeing him develop his confidence, deepen his understanding and excel as he continues to progress in English.

We started with Jess few weeks ago and she has been excellent so far. We were only looking for a tutor for our eldest but Jess offered us a good sibling discount.

My girls are shy but Jess was very friendly and they quickly settled with her. They enjoy their weekly lessons/homework and are making good progress.

Jess has been a great tutor for our daughter, helping to show how fun and interesting English can be, and encouraging her to engage further in the subject and express herself. The tutorials are helping her to build confidence and ability, and the resources and homework are well-planned and very useful.

I can only give the highest of recommendations for Jessica. She is extremely competent, efficient, and kind, and my son thoroughly enjoyed working with her in the editing of his college essays. I must add that his writing has greatly improved after the two weeks' of intensive tutoring with Jessica.

My daughter has had a brilliant time learning with Jessica and her predicted grade in English has gone from a C to an A*! Jess has been a lifesaver! Thanks to her wonderful work, my son has gained entry to Eton with a scholarship and has grown so much in confidence and skills. His grades have gone up greatly and he is now top of his class in English.
