I'm a London-based writer, producer and dramaturg. My plays include: Wilding (Soho Theatre Lab/shortlisted for the 2019 Papatango Prize) and This Little Earth (Arcola Theatre/In Development).
I have worked for some of the UK's leading theatres and production companies, including The Old Vic, where, as Creative Development Associate, I developed new work for the theatre, including the One Voice monologue series, working closely with artists including Russell Brand, Maxine Peake, Lolita Chakrabarti and Adrian Lester. Previously, I worked at Sonia Friedman Productions on over ten musicals and plays in under two years, including the development of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
I have delivered literary support, script reading and dramaturgy for: The Donmar Warehouse, Hampstead Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, RSC and The Bush. I have also worked with young people with The Old Vic’s Education Team, and tutored and taught young people of all ages. I have an Enhanced DBS check.
I've been a private tutor and mentor since leaving university in 2013, working with students at various different levels and abilities.
I also offer creative writing lessons for young people and adults of all ages, as well as script reading and dramaturgy services. Please select English and we can discuss.
Inspiring, enthusiastic kind and encouraging. It is very important to me that my students come to enjoy the learning process, and get excited about it as these are skills that will serve them well far beyond their exams and into the future. At the same time, I uphold the highest standards of academic rigour, which I was lucky to gain from my own education, and when I was an academic scholar at The University of Oxford.
