I am a graduate from Durham University (2019) with a 1st Class Master of Mathematics Degree. I achieved three A*s at A Level in maths, further maths and chemistry. I am passionate about maths, badminton and languages and love trying out new sports and travelling.
I currently tutor pupils from secondary, GCSE and A Level, one-to-one, online, and regularly helped tutor classmates during my A Levels. I have also volunteered in schools since my GCSEs helping to teach a range of people from bottom set year 11 students to high achieving A Level students both one-to-one and in small groups.
I enjoy tutoring most when the student leads the session with their chosen topic and we go through methods and questions together as opposed to me giving a 'lecture'; the hands on way helped me learn best! I think it is important to establish the students preferred way of working and that the student feels comfortable to ask the same question multiple times if needed or ask for it to be explain in a different way.
