Jimena Shafto (BSc Hons, PGCE, MA)
I have worked in the Education sector, teaching Spanish for more than 20 years.
I am a qualified teacher graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University College where I did my PGCE. I hold a Master’s degree in arts, (MA) in Spanish and Latin American Culture Studies from Kings College University of London.

I have taught Spanish at Mid Kent College for the GCSE and A levels, UCA University for the Creative Arts, teaching undergraduate students, Adult Education Centre and Invicta Grammar School, teaching from Y7 until Y10. I have also worked for Bromley College as a Business Studies Lecturer teaching GNVQ and AVCE levels. Since 2005 I have been fully committed to Spangles, teaching GCSE, A levels and university students. Very familiar with the AQA, Edexcel awarding bodies and the IB programme.

Tutoring Approach

All the lessons are very well structured. I use different approaches to meet different objectives. The lessons are planned according to the student and what He/She needs to achieve, taking into account each student's learning style.
