Hi there! I'm a university student studying Pharmacy at Keele University. I took A-Levels in French, Arabic, Chemistry, Biology and Maths. I achieved a grade A in French, Biology and Maths, and a grade B in Arabic and Chemistry.
I moved to the UK from Egypt in 2015, at the start of secondary school, so I can speak Arabic and English.
I have been tutoring since 2018, starting as a beginner's Arabic tutor and then as a beginner's piano tutor. I began tutoring French in 2020 for KS3 and GCSE students and have since expanded to the primary level as well.
As a sixth-form student, in 2019, I also volunteered to mentor younger students doing their French GCSE.
I value establishing a good tutor-student relationship with my tutees because I believe that will help them be more motivated and excited to learn. I like to first ensure the student has a good base of vocabulary and grammar before moving on to more complex tasks such as exam questions or writing tasks.
