Jo had 3 -4 sessions with my daughter. She is helpful able to discuss issues and identify areas to focus on. However the we could not find a mutually acceptable time to continue tutoring.

My son, Alasdair, finds Jo engaging and extremely helpful. She always sends a follow up e-mail after each session with notes on the topic covered, building an invaluable revision bank. She is very familiar with the exam board Alasdair is studying and they go through exam questions each week, which is excellent in familiarising Alasdair with the question style and the answers the board is looking for from him.
From my perspective, Jo always answers my e-mails/texts promptly and is always willing to help if she can. We really appreciate her help and I am very positive that we will see the benefits of her work with Alasdair after his mocks in January. Thank you very much!

Jo has been great for my daughter re=engaging her with her psychology studies and offering opportunity for focussed learning. Jo has spent time establishing what was needed and is working to ensure my daughter meets these goals in time for returning to college. The lessons have given my daughter confidence again and Jo has been really flexible, communicating any changes well and offering options. Really grateful for Jo’s help.

Jo saw me through an MSc level statistics module that I had already attempted to sit 3 times. She was patient, understanding and didn't make me feel judged or that my questions were fruitless. Jo provided me with practice questions to answer between sessions and we were able to go through these together which was very useful. Our personal schedules clashed at times and therefore my sessions with her often ended up being short-notice but we mostly were able to work around this and I finally passed my exam. Thanks Jo!

My daughter Daisy was finding A-level Psychology tricky. We had used additional tuition before and knew it would work if we found the right match. It was really important for Daisy to understand the subject to help her get a reasonable grade. We found Jo and it was a perfect match - Daisy could relate to Jo’s excellent approach. Thanks to Jo, Daisy passed and got the grade!!

So far excellent. My daughter got on very well and both determined what she want to learn with instant useful tips.

Joanne conducts herself very professionally. She is punctual and reliable. After only one meeting it is difficult to assess her tutoring skills, but we are confident that she knows her subject. We are hopeful that she will pass this knowledge on to our son with a good pass in his psychology A level.

Joanne is reliable and a great tutor for my 16 yr old daughter , pleased we have found her .
