Jodie

My name is Jodie Boyle and I am currently a KS2 learning support assistant. I work supporting students that need a little extra help especially in Literacy and Maths. My passion is for English and Performing arts, and I have a large focus on student wellbeing and self esteem.

Tutoring Experience

I have had experience in multiple primary and junior schools supporting KS1 and KS2, doing in classroom work and also 1:1 interventions to support children meeting expected standards in subject areas they are struggling with.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching is largely focused on student self esteem in the subject area and allowing them to realise their own strengths and find an enjoyment in it, which leads in to more affective learning. I have worked with many dyslexic children and I am very experienced in precision teaching methods.
