I am a highly experienced Mathematics educator with 16+ years of teaching experience across school and undergraduate levels. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at the University of Warwick, where I designed and delivered a Year 2 Engineering Mathematics course for the Business School, focusing on the Mathematics of Artificial Intelligence, including K-nearest neighbour algorithms, clustering, and programming applications.

I have also served as Deputy Head of Mathematics Departments and Head of Key Stage 5, giving me extensive experience in curriculum design, student progression, and preparing learners for top-tier examinations. I hold a strong degree in Mathematics, with specialisms in statistics and quantum computation, and am passionate about nurturing confident, independent learners while delivering rigorous, challenging tuition tailored to each student’s needs.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught across a wide range of levels, from early secondary to undergraduate Mathematics, giving me a deep understanding of how students develop numeracy, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. I have tutored many pupils one-to-one, building their confidence and mastery in the new 9-1 GCSE and 2017 A level specifications, including Further Mathematics.

My students have successfully sat STEP, MAT, and TMUA, and have been accepted into Oxbridge and other prestigious institutions.
