Alongside this, I have been teaching KS5 groups-two groups of Y12 students- in History which enhanced my marking skills as well as solidified further my subject knowledge on specifics topics relevant to GCSE units, such as Cold War and America.
Finally, I run extracurricular activities, namely: Debates in History, for KS4 students, which stimulated pupils' passion in History and Politics
In my role as Humanities teacher I utilized various learning techniques: metacognition, retrieval practice, which fostered the pupil’s understanding and encouraged their progress.
Further, I fostered a positive learning environment with the KS3-KS5 classes encouraging their creativity, their academic curiosity and their performance.
