John

John A Kerr is a very experienced teacher and tutor. He was an SQA exam setter and marker and author of over 20 textbooks used for GCSE, Standard Grade, Higher and A Level. He has presented at National Conferences for students and teachers and also at training for staff in schools across the UK.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught and tutored successfully for many years. I tutor all levels of high school from S1 to S6 in Scotland.

Tutoring Approach

Students can choose to be tutored in their own homes depending on location or the more popular on line option. If in their own home there is an extra £10 to cover travelling costs/time
Tuition meetings are usually weekly or by arrangement. Students can also benefit from email and facetime/zoom contact between meetings.
Practice in exam assessments is usually given weekly with detailed feedback at next meeting.
