John has been helping my son with A level.work for a couple of months. It has been very successful so far. John is definitely helping academically and also has an enthusiastic and encouraging approach.

John was excellent - he helped my son over a number of months and he went on to obtain a Grade 9 in his GCSE and a grade B in Additional Maths.

John is the perfect tutor we were looking for, he works extremely well with our son, supplementing his schoolwork and revision for maths, chemistry and physics GCSE prep. Highly recommended.

We engaged John to help our son in Y11 who was under-performing in Maths and Science GCSEs. John established an excellent rapport with him which I am sure contributed to his achieving an A grade in Maths.

My son Joe did Edexcel GCSE modular maths. In his first paper back in 2011 he got a B, then after a resitting his 2nd paper in January 2012 gained a C. I wanted to make sure he didn't mess up his final paper in June 2012 as it was 50% of the final mark, and so last minute I asked John to work with him for 4 or 5 sessions. John had a really good rapport with Joe and explained things he didn't understand in a clear and effective way. We've just had the results and Joe only dropped 3 marks, gaining an A* for the paper, which gave him a very high B overall. We're absolutely delighted and just wish we'd found John sooner!

Samantha learnt a lot and achieved A and A* at GCSE. She is now considering Maths A level.

John has proved very beneficial for my 15 year old daughter's learning in Combined Science over the past few weeks that she has been taught by him. Her general confidence has also grown in the subject which obviously makes her better placed for the upcoming exam. He is punctual, reliable, very pleasant, I would recommend him to others and I hope for her to continue working with him in science/maths for the coming final GCSE year.

John is an excellent tutor for my son. John is patient and thorough, building on what the student already knows. This has improved my son's confidence and helped his exam technique enabling him to achieve good grades.

John has given my daughter, Chloe, a great deal of renewed confidence in her subjects. He communicates well and structures the lessons to suit my daughters needs and current progress at school. Thank you John!

So far, so good. John has been reliable is coming to our house and his timekeeping is good. He is offering my son good assistance and my son says his tutoring is much better than anything he ever had at school. It's early days but we are optimistic that John's tutoring will see him through !!!

We are delighted with John. Our son feels much more confident already about physics and maths. John is extremely friendly and approachable and our son feels is able to ask John questions that he feels would make him look daft if he asked them in class. His confidence is building and he really looks forward to John's tuition sessions. We couldn't ask for more and would absolutely recommend John with no hesitation at all.

John has proved to be very good at focusing our son on his GCSE work.He is able to keep the time well used and has acheived a good understanding with our son

Chloe has now taken her maths GCSE and hopefully has done well. John's good tutoring helped her to become more confident in several topics she was unsure of and she is very grateful to him for his help.

John approach and teaching method has attaracted us and my son love to sit down and listen to John's explanation. John definitely has the tallenet and knows how to coach different levels of student.

John is a good teacher. I was terrified of my first lesson, but I ended up actually enjoying it!! I have learnt already where my weakneses are and i'm looking forward to progressing and reaching my goal. He uses a very holistic approach and arms himself with all the information that is needed for your specific requirements. I am a nurse who wants to improve on her medical maths and there are formulas to work by, so John researched this and is applying it to my study. I would highly recommend him.
