I'm an experienced tutor and graduate of Imperial College London, where I studied Physics. My academic achievements set me up well for my current career in software engineering. Back in school it was a different story however: exams gave me major anxiety and it took a while for new concepts in maths to really click, even though I was really interested in the subject. I can save you a lot of time by teaching you the strategies that worked for me, and helping you find your own.
I have taught over 100 hours of lessons on Tutorful with most of these being repeat students who achieved the grades they were after. I have also taught one-off lessons on a range of topics including entrance exams and psychometric tests for job interviews.
I'll tailor my approach to your goals: if you are just looking to pass a subject you find difficult and wish you hadn't taken, I'll focus on getting you the grades as efficiently as possible. On the other hand if you're an A-level student looking to study maths, physics or any other science at university, you'll get to share my enthusiasm as well as any advice I can offer, and I'll challenge you to strive for the best possible grades and make sure you have a great understanding of the subject to set you up for a degree. In all cases expect enthusiasm, energy and organised, personalised lessons.
