I specialise in assisting with essays in the Humanities (especially French, History, Economics and Politics), advanced English conversation and with university entrance preparation. I studied in the UK (Warwick & UCL) as well as in China, Morocco and France. This hinterland and broad cultural awareness enhances my lessons.

Tutoring Experience

I studied Politics with French at university and taught French in a leading independent secondary school for 20 years (A Level and Pre U), teaching Oxbridge classes, assisting pupils with university entry and teaching General Studies courses on International Relations.

Tutoring Approach

Lessons will generally last 60 minutes and I am flexible with timings (weekends and evenings are both fine). Lessons are entirely structured around your needs. The aim is to work together so that you gain in confidence and are clear at all stages why we are following a particular path.
