Very helpful explaining areas of economics my son was struggling with.

Jonathan, has been working with my son a second year economics student and has helped him hugely with his detailed and in depth understanding and his ability to convey this in a practical and usable way.

My son and I highly recommend him to other students who need additional support with A level Economics. Five out of five.

Kian is finding the sessions with you really helpful. He doesn’t give much info, but he comes out feeling good after each session and always says is been very helpful. He still feels Economics is his hardest subject and finds it very difficult, but he’s determined to get at least a B so all help you can give him will be great fully received. Exam question practice and hints and tips will be great for him.

Jonathan taught my son GCSE Economics between Jan - May 2023, to provide extra support prior to GCSE exams. Following my son's Mock 1 Exams in Dec '22, I felt that his Economics essay questions needed more guidance from an experienced teacher like Jonathan. We already noticed performance improvement during my son's Mock 2 Exams in 2023, where my son's Mock 2 marks were a couple of points shy off a grade 9. Jonathan explains concepts well and gave continuous feedback on practice exam papers. He is organised, flexible and above all, a teacher who cares about his students.

Jonathan has been an amazing tutor for my son. My son was struggling through his a level Economics and in 6 months Jonathan has turned things around for him. He feels very confident and prepared for his exams. Jonathan is a very approachable but very prepared and experienced tutor. He is punctual and reliable with lots of resources to consolidate and practice. As an examiner he was able to help my son learn the techniques required to answer and structure the essay questions. We feel immense gratitude to what Jonathan has been able to accomplish with my son. I could not recommend him enough and look forward to asking him to work with my other son on his igcse. Jonathan was an extremely supportive and knowledgeable tutor who professional and responsive to my daughters needs. Jonathan has been extremely reliable. He is very thorough, clear and I've enjoyed being tutored by him. The fact that he is a teacher and marks A' level papers has been very helpful.

I received tutoring from Jonathan for both unit 2 and unit 3 Economics. The sessions I had with Jonathan were always very relaxed and tailored to what I wanted to do and what I felt I needed to work on. He explained things clearly and if I did not grasp the concept the first time he would try different approaches until I finally understood. Together we went through numerous past papers and it was always very useful to have one on one feedback on what I had written. Most importantly to me, Jonathan was very good at giving advice and guidance on exam technique which is where I had been going wrong in the past. All in all the tutoring was a great help and made a huge difference to my results, where I raised my unit 2 grade from a D to an A, and my unit 3 from a C to an A.
