My daughter has had six lesson with Jon so far. She was out of education for three years due to severe bullying, so has very little confidence, but having returned to education, she is keen to achieve good A level results and go to a top university. With only six lessons, she achieved 94% in her school's UCAS predicted grade exams, so has been predicted an A*, which was not on the cards before Jon's help. He is a great A level maths tutor and I highly recommend him.

Jonathan is the epitome for excellence in mathematics tutoring. He tailored his teaching to my daughter’s specific learning style and provides homework at request after each lesson. He is prompt with each lesson. Provides detailed notes from each session and offers additional feedback if appropriate. My daughter was set to fail Maths getting grade 2. She has just passed Foundation Mathematics exam with a good level 5 - 76% . I cannot recommend him enough.

Jon supported my son who was re writing his A Level Maths. My son has now got the A he needed. Jon was approachable and honest with us. He was available when my son needed further support. I would recommend Jon.

Jonathan tutored my son for 6 months prior to his final Maths A Level exams and within this timeframe demonstrated a professional, organised, caring and flexible manner. Jonathan's excellent communication meant he was able to target topics/questions that were the most valuable to my son and helped him approach the final A Level exams with much clearer knowledge and greater confidence. With Jonathan's help my son improved from a predicted low B grade to achieving a very comfortable A grade. I cannot recommend Jonathan enough!

I got in touch with Jon to provide some additional support for my son in preparation for A levels after he found some areas tricky during mocks.
Jon was well organised and helped to plan and deliver the revision with examples which targeted the specific topics required. He was also helpful with general advice on exam preparation. My son was happy with the style and format of the lessons and he was pleased to achieve the B he was targeting.

Jonathan has tutored my daughter throughout her Maths A-level and has been instrumental in her securing a strong A* and a place on a Maths & Data Science degree at a top UK university. She initially found the transition to A-level challenging and got a C in her first Maths test. Jonathan is one the best tutors we have come across and, with his help, she quickly improved and gained confidence, consistently scoring above 90% in year 13. I’ve had Jon for the last 2 years from the beginning of year 12 all the way to finishing my exams for a level Maths. Jon is an absolutely fantastic tutor who is friendly, knowledgeable and can always find a way to explain things to you in order for it to make sense. In addition to this, he was never late once in the whole 2 years and would only reschedule if absolutely necessary and with plenty of notice. At the start of my A levels I really considered giving up Maths however I got Jon and began to really notice my confidence increasing and by the end of it I actually really enjoyed the subject and came out of it with a B and only a couple marks of an A which I could have dreamt of at the start. Overall, I could not recommend anyone anymore than Jon.

Jonathan is an excellent tutor.My son enjoys working with him. He is friendly, engaging, his teaching method is original as he save all the work done during the lesson and send it over. This way my son can review the questions and answers at a later date.My son is year 12 and missed just 1 mark to reach A level in summer exams . I am sure his levels will improve under Jonathan supervision .

Jonathan has been amazing support from day one. He has understood my son's difficulties and taught him to overcome these. He has been an incredible tutor. I contacted Jon about tutoring for A-level maths topics in preparation for a University course. I found him professional and personable, with an obvious grasp of the subject matter. Lessons for me were conducted over Zoom, where we used 'whiteboard' to go through problems. This method was simple and straightforward, and my questions were answered in a clear and well-explained way. I plan on continuing lessons when needed and would highly recommend his tutoring.

My Son found Jon’s maths tuition excellent all round. He found Jon extremely approachable to ask questions and Jon gave him great confidence in his own ability, preparing him exceptionally well for his A level maths and enabling him to achieve the A grade he needed. I can't recommend Jonathan highly enough, his teaching is of an exceptional standard. My son has achieved a high GCSE grade thanks to Jons teaching. Jon is very patient, explains clearly the work and how to complete it in a calm and supportive manner. Jonanthan is an excellent tutor. He is very knowledgeable and organised. For the purpose of identifying the strengths and weaknesses of my daughter in mechanics, Jonathan sent in some past paper questions even before the first session. He is professional. My 17 year old son just starting his A levels says that Jonathan has really helped him with the course. Seems to be very helpful and getting through the maths portions well , however we will only know how effective his tutoring was after the exams.

We are extremely pleased with Jon's tutoring in A level maths . He has a relaxed, calm approach to study which matthew is comfortable with and hence his confidence and knowledge/skills in this subject is steadily growing . He has an indepth knowledge of both maths and A level physics which has proved to be" invaluable" to matt's preparation/ revision for forthcoming exams in january .
