I have taught both GCSE and A level at Collingham College, an independent, selective college in Kensington and Chelsea. I am a qualified and experienced teacher and tutor of over twenty years standing. I aim to offer a quality service to quality students and I truly enjoy helping students to achieve their goals! I am a tutor with a regular set of clients who have been very pleased with my work. I work intensively with students to meet their goals and my students do very well. I have been fortunate enough to receive an excellent education myself and through this I have been able to achieve the highest-level grades throughout my own studies and a 'fully outstanding' award for my professional 'Teacher training'. I am fully aware of how important communication with parents and students is and that it ensures all our mutual goals are met and the students’ potential is fully fulfilled. I have references from students, employers and parents. I have also published nine academic examination books on Amazon over the last 4 years and the Psychology examination textbook has reached No 1 in a Teacher Assessment category of the Amazon charts and my English GCSE examination book also reached the top of the Secondary School Test Guides and Secondary Education categories and they have therefore been able to help thousands of students with their examinations. I have also created and sold premium resources in Psychology, Sociology and English for the Times Educational Supplement. I have had and have excellent relationships with my students as I aim to offer a quality service to quality students.
Professional tutor - September 2010 to ongoing: Various successful tuition arrangements of differing time periods; including the provision of complete A level tuition for students in Psychology, English Literature, Sociology and Religious Studies over the course of 1 to 2 years. I have also taught English and Psychology at, "St Edward's College". This has been listed as one of the, "...best of the best" schools in the country and has received two consecutive 'fully outstanding' reports from Ofsted.
I am committed and passionate as regards my subjects and with enabling my students to both enjoy their studies and realise their potential. I am dynamic in my teaching which ensures the students are engaged and my subject knowledge provides me with an assuredness in the quality of my teaching.
