Hi! I’m Josh and I’m a first year masters undergraduate at the University of Southampton. I have recently finished my first year and am looking to get experience in tutoring stem subjects to children during the summer.

Tutoring Experience

Grades I achieved during GCSE include 8s and 9s in all stem subjects and in A level I achieved As in both maths and physics and Bs in computer science and further maths.

I am very passionate about maths and have always found tricks that I could apply to learn difficult concepts with ease. I feel that maths is the foundation of many subjects and so is in my opinion one of the most critical subjects to grasp. Allowing you to succeed in maths other subjects as well.

Tutoring Approach

I’d host online meet-ups where I would screen share my iPad screen and we’d go through a few topics and attempt some practise questions together.

I shall mimic the in classroom teaching that I was taught during lessons. I haven’t yet acquired a teaching style so if you would rather me teach in a specific way then I would be very open to do that.

I would also be open to various requests for things like homework and extracurricular stuff to do between lessons :)
